
If Restoration Hardware gets its way, you'll be able to enjoy wine with lunch while purchasing home furnishings from their new store in Boston's Back Bay.
The California-based retailer will go before the Boston Licensing Board on Wednesday seeking a beer and wine license for a proposed 118-seat restaurant on three levels. Located in the 19th-century Boston building that once housed the New England Museum of Natural History and LouisBoston, the store is set to open next month.

(RH: Quote) Wednesday reported a profit for the third quarter, compared with a loss last year, as the home furnishings retailer benefited from strong growth in revenues as well as absence of one-time charges recorded in the year-ago period. The company's quarterly earnings and revenues came in above Street estimates.
Restoration Hardware, which made its debut on the NYSE last month, sells furniture, bath linen, and other items through its stores and website. The company competes with retailers such as Williams Sonoma Inc (WSM) and Ethan Allen Interiors Inc. (ETH).
