Robb & Stucky's Name Sold; Lubners Look Toward New Business
May 26, 2011They’ve lost the Robb & Stucky name.
But Clive Lubner, the company’s CEO, and his son, Dan Lubner, will come up with a new name for their emerging retail furniture and interior design business.
With Robb & Stucky in bankruptcy, a Lubner family partnership offered to pay as much as $460,000 for the Fort Myers-based furniture company’s intellectual property, including its name, logo and a long list of customers, but lost out to a higher bidder.
