Lexington Announces Winners in Market Promotion
June 26, 2009
Lexington Home Brands, Thomasville, N.C., announced on Thursday that three retailers have won a special promotion unveiled at the April High Point Market.
In conjunction with the introduction of three new lifestyle collections–Black Ice, Cimarron, and Island Estate by Tommy Bahama Home–the company developed a custom reward package tailored for each individual collection. Retailers placing qualifying orders at Market for any of the three were automatically entered into a drawing for the reward package for that collection.
For Black Ice, Isabelle Codere of J.C. Perrault in Montreal won a set of designer jewelry.
Shayne and Cathy Hemsley of Hamilton Park in Salt Lake City won a weekend getaway for two to the Fairmont Princess Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz., which was the reward package for the Cimarron collection.
The rewards package for the new Tommy Bahama collection, Island Estate, was a weekend getaway for two to the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. The winning dealer was Christina Gavronsky from The Furniture Mart in Jacksonville, Fla.
"In a challenging business environment, we recognize that sampling a new whole-home collection is a significant decision," said Jim Burke, senior vice president of sales at Lexington Home Brands. "We felt compelled to express our appreciation for the confidence placed in us by our retail partners, and decided that this approach would lend excitement to our Market presentation and offer them a well-deserved reward at the same time. We found it effective on both fronts."
Lexington Home Brands will show all three new collections, as well as the first of two fall introductions, St. Tropez, at the World Market Center in Las Vegas, Sept. 14-17. The second fall introduction, Palos Verdes, will debut at the High Point Market, Oct. 17-23.
