John Bray Takes Reins of AHFA Board for 2010

John Bray, chief executive officer of Vanguard Furniture, has been elected 2010 chairman of the American Home Furnishings Alliance.
The organization also named its new board at its annual meeting in Palm Beach, Fla., earlier this month.
Bob Duncan, chief executive officer of American Leather, has moved to first vice chairman. Jeff Cook, president of Broyhill Furniture, was elected second vice chairman.
Bruce Bradburn, chief executive officer of Bradburn Gallery, has moved to immediate past-chairman of the AHFA board. The officers assume their new posts Jan. 1.
Members newly elected to serve three-year terms on the AHFA board include: Noel Chitwood, American of Martinsville; Bill Colegrove, aspenhome; Doug Collier, La-Z-Boy Inc.; Stefanie Lucas, Rowe Fine Furniture; Allan Palecek, Palecek; Glenn Prillaman, Stanley Furniture; George Revington, Home Meridian International; Ralph Scozzafava, Furniture Brands International; Henry Vanderminden, Telescope Casual; and Todd Wanek, Ashley Furniture Inds.
