An Ashley Furniture Homestore in North Charleston, S.C., has closed, perhaps temporarily, the Charleston Post and Courier reported Saturday
A sign on the door indicated the store will remodel before reopening under new ownership, but gave no reopening date, according to the report.
Customers with outstanding orders were asked to call (866) 941-6768, ext. 5358, or to e-mail chascustomercare@compassfurnituregroup.com to schedule a delivery time.
The 50,000-square-foot store closed Dec. 31, idling about 15 workers.
The store was operated by a franchisee, Compass Furniture Group.
