Bob's Discount Supports Soup Kitchen

Bob's Discount Furniture has donated $1,000 the St. Vincent de Paul Place soup kitchen in Norwich, Conn., the Norwich Bulletin reported Sunday.
Catherine Poulin, public relations director for Bob's Discount Furniture, Manchester, Conn., presented the check from the Random Acts of Kindness initiative from the Bob's Outreach Program.
Bob's chooses a Random Act of Kindness recipient every month from among nonprofit organizations nominated either at Bob's stores or by e-mail.
