Rayle, Skoglund Take Product Posts at Klaussner
January 14, 2009
Klaussner Home Furnishings, Asheboro, N.C., appointed Chris Rayle to the position of director of merchandising for the Klaussner Case Goods Division. Jamie Skoglund will take over Rayle's prior position, product manager for occasional tables, rugs and lamps.
Rayle, who joined Klaussner two-and-a-half years ago, replaces former Vice President of Case Goods Merchandising Darren York, who has left the company to take a position with Lacquer Craft USA.
Previously, Skoglund handled Klaussner's West Coast case goods operation and most recently had been product manager for the rug and lamp product lines. He has been with Klaussner for four years.
"Chris Rayle has done a very good job of growing our occasional table, casual dining and entertainment business while he has been product manager over those areas," said Senior Vice President Merchandising Jay Foscue. "He has developed a great relationship with our dealers and our sales team, which made him a natural selection to fill this role for Klaussner. We're also glad to have Jamie Skoglund involved with our case goods program again. We feel both of these men will do an exceptional job for us."
Klaussner Home Furnishings produces and sources upholstery, reclining, bedroom and dining room furniture as well as occasional, entertainment and accents through domestic manufacturing facilities and an extensive global resource network.
