Takara Joins Martin as Marketing Coordinator

Christine Takara has joined home office and home entertainment vendor Martin Furniture, San Diego, as marketing coordinator.
Takara, who will contribute to the marketing department as well as assist in public relations efforts, replaces Vanessa Martinez, marketing and communications director, who had been with the company since 2006.
Takara recently graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, emphasis in Images and Influence and a minor in Business Administration. While in college, she played Division 1 basketball on the USD women's team, and studied abroad for a semester in Madrid, Spain.
"Christine was selected from a deep pool of well qualified applicants and we are thrilled to have her aboard," said Vice President of Martin Home Furnishings, Karl Eulberg. "We are excited to have her join the team. Her background is ideal and her energy and enthusiasm are contagious."
Martinez is leaving Martin Home Furnishings to pursue a career in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has been instrumental in the branding, marketing and public relations for Martin Home Furnishings.
