Cresent to Host Wii Olympics & Giveaway during Market

Cresent Fine Furniture, Gallatin, Tenn. will celebrate the introduction of a new line of media consoles for its best-selling Cresent Classics collection at the upcoming High Point Market by hosting a "Wii Olympics" during at its showroom in space 204 of Hamilton Square.
Wii contests include retailers boxing head-to-head against their sales rep; longest drive and closest to the pin in Tiger Woods Golf; the opportunity for retailers to test their Wii golf game against Cresent low handicapper, and CEO. Tommy Tomkins; singles and doubles Wii tennis matches in the Cresent Open; and a Homerun Derby at the "Cresent Park."
High scorers will qualify for a drawing for a new Wii to be given away at Market.
The new media consoles are being introduced in two sizes, in solid cherry and solid maple, and are available in each of the four Cresent Classics lifestyle designs. The larger of the two consoles features a new Gaming Garage to house the latest generation of Wii's, PS3s and Xbox360s.
"Cresent Classics has reached over 200 retail floors across the country," said Vice President of Sales & Marketing Richard Tomkins. "Sales to the consumer have been well above our expectations, and we want to continue to accelerate the growth rate by adding pieces that expand our market opportunities. The entertainment category is growing rapidly and we have some great new gaming driven products for consumers.
