Tashjian to Lead Home Meridian Marketing

Ed Tashjian has joined case goods and motion upholstery vendor Home Meridian International, High Point, as chief marketing officer.
Most recently, Tashjian ran his own marketing business. Until March last year, he served as vice president of marketing at Century Furniture for 11 years before his position there was eliminated due to the poor economy.
HMI is a global design and marketing company that operates distribution centers on both coasts. The company has offices in Dongguan, China, and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. It is the parent company of Pulaski Furniture, Samuel Lawrence Furniture, Samuel Lawrence Hospitality, Creation's juvenile furniture and, as of last week, Prime Resources International.
