Klaussnerhome Celebrates Grand Opening of Greensboro, N.C., Store
Jeff Davis Opens His First Klaussner Home Furnishings Store, Fifth Store Overall
August 2008
The first Klaussnerhome store for former Klaussner executive and now owner of Innovision Retail Inc. Jeff Davis, is holding a grand opening Friday in Greensboro, N.C.
The 25,000-square-foot store, which is the fifth Klaussnerhome location overall, is located near Interstate 40 in Wendover Village next to Costco and Circuit City stores. The new Klaussnerhome store will offer a full range of home furnishings and accents from upholstery, to bedroom, to dining room, to rugs, lamps, wall décor and more, in a variety of styles such as contemporary, classic and casual.
“Shoppers in the Triad have come to know this area as a destination for convenient shopping. It’s easy to access, conveniently located close to I-40, and is home to a variety of well-frequented stores,” Davis said. “I’m confident, Klaussnerhome, will be their choice when shopping home furnishings and accessories.”
The grand opening celebration will run through Oct. 24. Promotions at the store, which had a soft opening in late July, include special extended financing, a free “your choice” accessory with any $500 purchase, a free nightstand with purchase of select beds and a Dream Room Sweepstakes worth $3,000.
The store, which will offer guaranteed delivery on select items in seven days or less and guaranteed delivery on all custom orders within 30 days, will pivot around Klaussnerhome’s lifestyle inspired merchandising approach, vast custom order capabilities and everyday low price strategy.
“This store represents years of research, planning and conceptualization. It has long-time been my dream to bring all of Klaussner Home Furnishings core competencies, direct to shoppers,” Davis said.
Davis, formally Klaussner Home Furnishings senior vice-president of strategic development and marketing, left the company earlier this year to develop Innovision Retail with the sole intention of following his vision--present shoppers with the best selection of home furnishings and accessories, with ultimate choices and quick delivery on special orders.
Shoppers’ expectations, Davis said, have radically changed and the Klaussnerhome retail model embraces and supports those expectations and needs.
“Everything we do at Klaussnerhome, our singular purpose, is to offer shoppers the best value, service, quality and choice, to make their home their most loved space,” says Davis. “Our mission starts and ends with the customer’s needs. It’s at the forefront of everything we do.”
In September, the new store will feature a guest appearance by Klaussner Home Furnishings’ spokesperson, designer and television host, Genevieve Gorder. Gorder’s “Dear Genevieve” show is set to launch on HGTV in January 2009.
