Pure LatexBliss Aims at Canada
November 29, 2012Luxury mattress brand Pure LatexBliss is targeting Canada as part of its 2013 growth plans.
The Atlanta-based company announced it plans to exhibit for the first time at the Jan. 12-15 Canadian Home Furnishings Market in Toronto and increase its number of regional distribution centers in the country.
Following the appointment of E.B. Walthall to vice president of sales, North America, Pure LatexBliss set out to strategically increase sales and brand efforts in Canada, a strong latex market. Pure LatexBliss has a distribution center in Calgary and is planning to add another in Eastern Canada early in 2013.
“Our business has steadily been growing in Canada since 2010. It has proven to be a great market for latex and we want to increase our resources and marketing efforts to accelerate growth. Canadian retailers sell Latex more like European countries, which is different than the approach taken in the United States. Canada is a fantastic market for latex and has been for years,” said Pure LatexBliss President Kurt Ling.
Pure LatexBliss manufactures and markets ultra premium mattresses. Today, the company does business in 15 countries and recently expanded from one fabrication site and warehouse in Atlanta to four with regional distribution centers in the United Kingdom, France, Canada, Atlanta, Miami, Phoenix, Texas, Connecticut, and Portland, Ore.
