Office Star Products Acquires Avenue Six

Office Star Products, Ontario, Calif., announced on Tuesday that it has acquired the assets of RTA vendor Avenue Six. The move gives the Office Star a broader array of home furnishings, including upholstery.
Avenue Six founder, Paul Reitzen, will continue to work with Office Star in key account sales and product development. Also from the Avenue Six management team, Steve Harris and Roger Scheuer will join Office Star in the areas of product development and operations.
"The synergies of the highly innovative, award winning Avenue Six ready-to-assemble (RTA) upholstered furniture line will tie-in perfectly while adding to an expanded mix of quality Office Star furniture," said Office Star President Rick Blumenthal. "What's more, the depth of the Avenue Six product line will be further expanded over the coming months to increase our offerings of fashion forward home furnishings."
Office Star Products is a leading supplier of quality RTA home and office seating. Other RTA products include computer desks, credenzas, files, entertainment and occasional furniture. Office Star Products also has a contract furniture division that markets a full-line of casegoods including executive desks, workstations, credenzas, conference tables, filing systems and reception furniture.
Founded in 1987, Office Star Products is headquartered in Ontario, California. The state-of-art 32-bay, 206,000 square foot facility also houses customer service, fabrication, warehousing and shipping. An additional 32-bay, 200,000 square foot warehouse and distribution center built in 2005 is located in nearby Fontana, California.
Office Star Products also recently opened a new 125,000-square-foot East Coast showroom and distribution center in Teterboro, N.J., 20 minutes from Newark Airport.
