Profitsystems Expands Freight Savings Program
Profitsystems Expands Freight Savings Program for Furniture Retail Clients
August 26, 2009
Retail automation and services vendor Profitsystems Inc., Colorado Springs, Col., has again expanded its freight savings program to now offer "FAK" (freight all kinds).
The program, which has steadily grown over the past four years, has offered users benefits to help reduce their freight expense.
The newest benefit allows retailers to ship higher class code product for a reduced class code rate. Since class code helps to determine the price the retailer will pay for their product, being able to offer a better class code will allow greater savings.
"The nice thing about the FAK is it applies to inbound and outbound shipments," said Layla Berglund, director of PROFITfreight. "Since the program is now available to non-clients we expect to see many retailers take advantage of this savings benefit."
