Raymour & Flanigan Set to Open 3rd Manhattan Store on Black Friday
November 18, 2009
Northeast retailer Raymour & Flanigan will open its third Manhattan location next week on Black Friday, Nov. 27. The store will be the company's third in Manhattan.
The store, located on Broadway at 66th Street, will be the retailer's largest location in Manhattan and will offer its broad range of home furnishings backed up by delivery in three days or less.
"We are pleased to announce the opening of the new flagship Raymour & Flanigan location in Manhattan's Upper West Side, near Lincoln Center," said Neil Goldberg, chief executive officer of Raymour & Flanigan. "As a showcase location, the store provides neighborhood dwellers with a large portfolio of high-quality furniture and is committed to helping its customers turn their living spaces into homes in time for the holiday season."
The Lincoln Center store will feature a 30,000-square-foot showroom, spanning two floors. The store will employ about 50 associates, which includes sales teams and customer care representatives.
"Purchasing furniture is a personal decision our customers make," said Larry Gallagher, vice president of sales New York Metro area. "It is particularly convenient that we offer a room planning feature online and in our showrooms so customers can see exactly how different pieces and furniture groupings work in their rooms. This application is essential in the Manhattan region where the scale of living space is small."
The retailer operates 91 stores in seven states, including 83 showrooms and eight clearance centers.
