Leeds Mattress Owner Reclaiming First Love

Neil “With The Deal” Leeds, who stars in commercials for his Southern California Leeds Mattress chain, announced plans recently to reopen the first store in his 25-store operation after the North Hollywood location was destroyed by fire in 2008.
The new, 7,000-square-foot Leeds Mattress store at 6030 Laurel Canyon in North Hollywood, Calif., is under construction and will open in 2009.
"There is something special about my first location. It's like your first love. You never forget," said Leeds, who established his business at the site in 1996.
Leeds Mattress operates 25 stores throughout Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside counties.

Neil Leeds has become a very well-liked personality in Southern California over the past 10 years or so. My kids love his fun commercials and call him Uncle Neil! :)
