SFC to Launch GREENleaders Webinar

The Sustainable Furnishings Council (SFC) will offer its GREENleaders Certified Sustainability Training program as a series of online Webinars, in addition to continuing the program with live events.
The six-hour exam course is designed to give manufacturers, reps, retailers and designers all they need to know to become certified experts in green home furnishings, with content approved by the SFC board of directors, including ranking staff of World Wildlife Fund and Rainforest Alliance and one of the two co-founders of USGBC/LEED. It has also been approved through ASID for six CEU credits.
The Webinar series will be offered as six one-hour presentations on consecutive Tuesdays beginning on July 7, 2-3 p.m., eastern time, with online exams to be taken within 30 minutes after the conclusion of each module. The cost of the entire series with accreditation for successful course completion is $299, with make-up sessions available after the series for those unable to attend a particular module. Participants need a computer, Internet access and a telephone.
