August 2008
The RoomPlace, a 22-store chain in the Chicago area, has hired Zimmerman Advertising, the nation’s 14th largest firm, for what an announcement said Wednesday will be a $10 million integrated campaign.
“Zimmerman offered us the right level of talent—not just for advertising, but to activate our entire business,” said The RoomPlace President and CEO Bruce Berman. “We like the people, we respect the agency’s accomplishments, and we think adding Zimmerman to our strong team will help support our continued growth strategy.”
Lombard, Ill.-based The RoomPlace, which operated a single store until 1985, now has 14 locations in suburban Chicago, three in the city itself, two stores in Indianapolis, and single stores in Rockford, Ill.; Merrillville, Ind.; and Mishawaka, Ind.
