Texas Natuzzi Stores Closing

Natuzzi Americas, the High Point-based sales and marketing arm of the Natuzzi Group, Italy's largest furniture manufacturer and world leader in leather sofas, announced Monday the closure of two independently owned Natuzzi stores in Texas.
The Plano store closed July 31, and the Dallas store is slated to close on August 31.
The stores' owner, Moshe Rudelman, decided to close the stores due to the current economic climate, and over the course of the upcoming months, Natuzzi will work with Rudelman and his staff to satisfy all outstanding customer orders.
"We appreciate the passion that Moshe and his team have brought to the business and Natuzzi," said Cary Benson, president of Natuzzi Americas. "We are disappointed he has decided to close the stores and wish to thank him for all his efforts and dedication over the past five years."
Natuzzi Americas is currently working with the landlord for the Dallas store to possibly pursue it as a company-owned location. The Dallas store opened in November 2004 and is currently located at 11700 Preston Rd. The Plano store, which was located
within The Shops at Legacy, 7300 Lone Star Dr., opened in August 2008.
Natuzzi Americas continues to operate its company-owned Natuzzi Soho flagship store at 101 Greene St., New York, N.Y.
