Value City Store in Michigan to Close
March 25, 2009American Signature Inc., Columbus, Ohio, will close its Saginaw Township, Mich., Value City Furniture store on May 2, the The Saginaw News reported on Wednesday.
A spokesman said in the report that the Flint store and at least 10 other Michigan stores will remain in business.
Apparently, when a Value City department store in Saginaw closed, consumers were confused, and many thought the 141,131-square-foot furniture store property also closed.
