Hotel Rates Decline for Las Vegas Market

January 12, 2009
The Las Vegas Market announced Friday that several hotels in the city have dropped rates for the Winter Market, Feb. 9–13. There are now eight properties served by the World Market Center's transportation network offering weekday rates under $100.

Among hotels offering the lowest rates are the Imperial Palace ($45), Sahara ($45), Flamingo ($65), Harrah's ($65) and the Golden Nugget ($69). In most cases, rates are higher on Friday and Saturday. At other hotels, rate reductions since a previous announcement in December include the Bellagio at $199 (down from $239), Treasure Island at $89 (down from $155) and Planet Hollywood at $139 (down from $169).

"No city in the world has more to offer in terms of options and value in accommodations, and with truly unrivaled hotel rates, Las Vegas is hands-down the most cost-effective Market for buyers to attend," said Bob Maricich, World Market Center president and CEO.

The facility encourages attendees to book earlier via the www.lasvegasmarket.com reservation system for best availability and selection.
