Zenith Global Names Chen GM in Asia

Furniture and home accents supply chain leader Zenith Global Logistics has hired Knight Chen for the newly created post of General Manager of Business Development, Asia.

“Our growing international business required us to have an experienced supply chain manager in Asia to oversee Zenith Global’s warehousing, domestic and international shipping services and factory interfaces,” said Steve Wolfe, vice president. “Home furnishing retailers and manufacturers are increasingly relying on us to manage their international logistics, such as inventory control, export services and customs clearance issues. Having Chen on board, stationed in Asia, is all part of our mission to provide reliable, flexible service to our customers.”
Chen reports to Wolfe.

Chen has more than 10 years’ experience in Asian sourcing and supply chain management, including consulting services on China logistics to furniture industry in Asia. He established the first Asian Furniture Consolidation Center in Shenzhen, including quality assurance and quality control functions. Chen’s service within the industry also includes a six-year role in the International Conference on Greater China Supply Chain and Logistics. He holds a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management from Soochow University in Taipei, Taiwan.

Zenith Global Logistics is a supply chain logistics provider specializing in international and domestic furniture warehousing, overseas transportation and domestic distribution, covering all of North America and the Caribbean. Zenith currently operates more than 4.5 million square feet of warehouse domestically with 11 locations in Southern California, Dallas Texas, North Carolina and Virginia.
