Zenith Adds Trucks for Expedited Service

Zenith Freight Lines, the trucking arm of Conover, N.C.-based Zenith Global Logistics, has added 12 Freightliner Cascadia 72-inch raised-roof sleeper cabs to its fleet to meet growing domestic shipping demand for expedited transload service from California to ports across the country.
"We're continuing to experience significant growth despite the economic climate, and because of this we've had to add to our fleet to meet the increased demand," said Jack Hawn, president and CEO. "We understand the critical importance of speed-to-market, and these new trucks will ensure we meet or exceed our customers' requirements in this area. These additional team trucks will also make certain our valued driver team has the latest equipment necessary to service our customers safely, comfortably and quickly."
Zenith Global currently runs coast-to-coast in 48 hours through its expedited services offering. It also recently announced the addition of in-home delivery service by partnering with industry leader Exel Direct, giving retailers the ability to have orders on shoppers' doorsteps in under a week.
Zenith Global Logistics is a total supply chain logistics provider specializing in international and domestic home furnishings warehousing, overseas transportation and domestic distribution, covering all of North America and the Caribbean.
