GuildMaster CEO Goes Retail Roadtripping

Have you heard about Guildmaster CEO Steve Crowder's 15,000-mile road trip?

If you have, you know it's a pretty cool idea. If you haven't, you need to know about it.

His plan—visit 200 stores in 41 states in just 85 days. GuildMaster on Tour is intended to uncover great customer success stories, find out what people want, what they are buying and how GuildMaster can become better at meeting their needs.

"We are going to gather some valuable information, and then we will take the information learned on the road and we will execute," Crowder said. "We’re going to share best practices about what is working and we will focus on the positives of what we need to do.”

Not only is it cool that he's taking the time to connect so intimately with his retail and interior design customers, but he's set up three different social networking tools to allow folks to follow along and take part in the tour. He's on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.

Crowder started in Arkansas and was in Texas last week. This week, he'll be in Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama. Next week, he heads to the Southeast, and then in the fourth week, he'll be in Columbia, S.C. I may have to be sneak over to Cottage and Vine to see him in action.

What a fantastic way to show you care and to stay in tune with what's happening in your customers' stores.
